The single-player story of the game called Halo Infinite was highly appreciated. However, one of the biggest drawbacks of the production right now is the lack of an option for co-op. Playing Halo with a friend locally or online has been an option since Halo: Combat Evolved was released in 2001.
The absence of this mode in Halo Infinite has created a sad situation for the players. 343 Industries is still trying to integrate this feature into the game. Fans of the game have found a way to enter local co-op mode on the Xbox system. At this point, Halo Infinite offered a way to enjoy the story with a friend using split screen.
A second player can enter Halo Infinite
To play Halo Infinite with your friend, you need to make sure Halo Infinite is installed while your console is offline. Then you connect a second controller and log in to your Xbox account. You load a story episode from your first controller. After entering the game, press the start button and then return. Then press the start button using the second controller. This activates the split screen and creates a new Master Chief that the second player can control.
Co-op mode has some limitations on vulnerability
This unfinished version of Halo Infinite has serious limitations. For example, the 2nd player does not have a HUD and the story missions do not work normally. At the same time, we don’t have the luxury of engaging in a shared story adventure online or in the PC version of the game.
