Continuing to expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe with new movies and series, Marvel was hit with the visual effects quality in its latest productions. Continuing to be on the agenda especially with the visual effects of She-Hulk and Doctor Strange, the company became the subject of social media with a new disaster today.

Marvel has started to bring Thor: Love and Thunder, which was released on July 6, to Disney+ in countries deemed appropriate by cinema laws. However, in the version of the movie added to Disney+, a significant change was seen in one scene. Marvel changed the effect seen in the scene where Thor is intuitively speaking to a boy. But the ‘renewed effect’ turned out to be even worse than before, according to many.

Marvel’s remake of the visual effect:

  • Left: What we saw in the movie, Right: Disney+ version

The new visual effects disaster has been trending on social media, with some even making their own effects:

“Better version”

“Obviously this looks better than both”

“Thor: “How much is 9+10?”

“Me, 4, standing at my parents’ bedroom door in the middle of the night to say I vomited”

“The MCU needs to take a break for a while and stop putting a strain on the VFX artists because it sucks. It’s a multimillion-dollar company and that’s what they’ve come up with.”

“I noticed this today and I laughed and I laughed and I laughed and…”

“I wouldn’t have thought we’d get to the stage where we’d be patching movies as if they were video games.”

“Calm down, I fixed it.”

“I fixed it again, with even less effort”
