It is known that Samsung will bring various artificial intelligence features to the Galaxy S24, and these artificial intelligence-supported features are gradually emerging. But artificial intelligence is not the only thing the company is working on. It looks like Samsung is working with Instagram for deeper social media integration.
For the first time, Samsung offered a way to take photos and videos directly from the phone’s native camera application and upload them to Instagram Stories on the Galaxy S10. Now, with the Galaxy S24, it seems that it will go one step further by integrating Instagram into the phone’s lock screen. Users will be able to access Instagram’s camera mode directly from the Galaxy S24’s lock screen. Developer Alessandro Paluzzi managed to find hints of this feature in the Instagram app for Android.
It looks like the Galaxy S24 will offer an option in the Settings menu that allows users to set the Instagram Camera mode as one of the phone’s lock screen shortcuts. This feature seems to be introduced when phone users open the Instagram application for the first time. Upon opening the app for the first time, a drop-down menu will appear allowing users to try out this feature. Additionally, more features and integrations that work with the Instagram app may be introduced. These features will be announced in early January, when Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S24 series.
