President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, was giving information about the operation to the Security Council in front of a map on live broadcast. The map shows that Ukraine is divided into four parts. The video resonated all over the world with comments that Russia may have disclosed its operation plan.

Journalist Tadeusz Giczan, who shared the image on Twitter, called it “what looks like a real invasion map” and said Russia “may be showing their plans after Ukraine”.

It turned out that the video was first published by the Telegram channel.

Is Moldova Next?

Lukashenko stands in front of the map where he sent troops and missiles to Ukraine via Belarus in the video. The map marks soldiers moving to Moldova in the southwestern corner of Ukraine. Based on this detail, the world media is making comments, “Is Moldova the target after Ukraine?”

The map also includes red arrows pointing to the depths of Ukraine. In a pincer it includes Kiev and other sections stretching from the east to the Dnieper river in the heart of the country.

At today’s security council meeting, Lukashenko showed what looks like an actual invasion map. It shows Ukraine military facilities destroyed by missiles from Belarus, attacks directions (everything agrees except Odessa-Transnistria). Also, Ukraine is divided into 4 sectors. pic.twitter.com/ueqBIFUbyM

Sanctions Decisions on Belarus

The EU and the USA also decided to sanction Belarusian individuals and organizations for their role in Russia’s war against Ukraine. The UK made a similar statement.

In a written statement made yesterday by the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was stated that sanctions will be imposed on Belarusian Chief of General Staff Viktor Gulevic, three deputy defense ministers Andrei Burdyko, Sergei Simonenko and Andrey Zhuk, and 2 military enterprises.
