The company has released a guide detailing how organizations can better control the timing of removing IE11’s UI and other visual elements such as the IE logo. It also explained how to disable these items with Windows Update.
Now, the company has announced a big change in plans. By updating the “Frequently Asked Questions” items of the desktop version of IE11, Microsoft; He said that Windows Update will not remove visual references and similar items such as IE11 icons in the Start menu and taskbar.
In case of exceptional scenarios, IE11 will remain accessible to Edge. Microsoft states that it made this decision based on customer feedback.
