The short image feature like Youtube, Tiktok and Instagram Reels has started to have a very strange problem at Shorts. Users were directed directly to Shorts images when they open the application.

So when you open Youtube, the Shorts images began to play directly automatically. A large number of users reported that they faced this problem in the last few weeks and complained of platforms for Reddit in the last few weeks.

There is no definite analysis now

No explanation has been made about the issue now on YouTube. Forcibly closing the application and opening back later does not solve the problem. Although it was seen that the storage compared to 9to5Google or the cache reset by cleaning the cache solved the problem, the Shorts returned when it was reopened.

Let’s add that the problem is only experienced in Android devices for now. We did not encounter a random complaint that this style was something on the iOS side. We will wait and see when the company will offer a definite analysis to the problem.
