The Lord of the Rings series The Rings of Power, which Middle-earth lovers met on September 2, managed to divide the whole world into two as it was published. While many people found the first episodes of the series especially successful in terms of visuals, the story, characters and performance of the actors received both positive and negative comments.
One of the last comments on the Lord of the Rings series was shared by Elon Musk. “Tolkien turned upside down in his grave,” Musk said, literally knocking the series down. He made his statements. Musk’s comment was answered by the famous writer Neil Gaiman. Finally, Gaiman, who appeared behind the camera of The Sandman, came out to Musk as follows:
“He doesn’t come to consult me on how to fail to buy Twitter”
“Elon Musk isn’t coming to consult me on how to fail to buy Twitter, and I’m not going to him for film, TV or literary criticism.”
While the tension between Elon Musk and Neil Gaiman was the last development in the Lord of the Rings series, the series was recently subject to a review ban on Amazon. The platform shared the reason for this ban as the start of the review bombardment for the series.
