A suspected fraudulent crypto wallet has launched 114 dangerous memecoins in two months.
According to crypto phenomenon ZachXBT, an alleged scammer has released 114 memecoins in the last 45 days alone. The person, who closed each of them in a short time, moved the assets he obtained to another wallet.
The popularity of memecoins, especially Pepe and Wojak, has led to the emergence of thousands of scam memecoins. Coins issued with images such as cats, dogs or frogs are taking over the assets of investors.
Memecoin Scam Surprised
A wallet address has released 114 memecoins in about 45 days, according to research by blockchain detective ZachXBT. Surprised by this, crypto users described the fraudulent wallet as “an incredible dedication.”
Making a statement on the subject, ZachXBT stated that he suspects that there is more and that these coins are only those that are detected by sending. The crypto wallet regularly saves the coins it collects from the memecoins it creates in another wallet.
The memecoin frenzy in the crypto industry has also started to make many scammers hungry. Hundreds of memecoins are popping up on the Ethereum network. Crypto investors are depositing money in these memecoins in the hope that they will become a new Shiba or Dogecoin.
