According to the laws of physics, wherever we move, we are constantly pushing something (even if nothing else, air). To physicists, this is the Earth’s constant because of the law of conservation of motion. However, it is thought that this situation can be reversed with a new invention.

Georgia Institute of Technology researchers have revealed that structures can move without pushing any entity. How Does? With a newly invented robot. According to what they say, this robot can even pass through black holes.

The robot that defies the laws of physics:

In a new research paper published by the institute, the team writes that the team designed a robot held on a sphere with unprecedented isolation from its surroundings so that the effects of curvature dominate.

The leader of the robot study says:

“To systematically study motion in curved space, we let our shape-shifting robot move on a sphere, in the simplest curved space. We learned that the predicted effect, so intuitive that it was dismissed by some physicists, can happen: As the robot changes its shape, nothing happens around the sphere in a way that cannot be attributed to environmental interactions. It moved forward without crashing.”

The research leader believes they can use these robots to explore black holes. Of course, although it can move forward without being subjected to a force, the robot needs to become physically durable. What are you thinking? Please do not forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
