After the incredibly popular Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) version, the legend of Counter-Strike is now preparing to meet the players with a new version. It is normal for there to be a lot of rumors about new games to be released by Valve, but it is noteworthy that this claim comes from the Nvidia leak.
Rumors of a new Counter Strike version arose when the Nvidia graphics driver released last week was found to contain support for “Counter strike 2” and several related executables – “cs2.exe” and “csgos2.exe”. It is said that the new game will use the same engine as Valve’s famous VR game Half-Life: Alyx.
If any of these reports are true and a beta is due to be released later this month, game enthusiasts can expect Valve to unveil Counter Strike 2 in the coming weeks. As always, it is worth reminding that these reports and leaks should not be accepted as clear information until confirmation from official sources.
