Nvidia’s RTX 4090 has set new heights in overclocking, setting a series of world records.
The Galax RTX 4090 HOFile Team OGS, a “Hall of Fame” edition graphics card specially designed to be overclocked by expert overclockers, managed to hit an astonishing 3.825 GHz.
As wccftech reports, and as you might guess, overclocking attempts using liquid nitrogen cooling have tackled at least 14 world records from OGS, including a bunch of new 3DMark records (Fire Strike Ultra and Fire Strike Extreme and Port Royal and others). made it pass.
Team OGS had previously boosted this Galax RTX 4090 to 3.705GHz, so this is an important step forward for the overclocking team.
The Galax RTX 4090 HOF is definitely a pretty good set, coming with twin 16-pin power adapters that allow the GPU to be powered with at least 1,000 W. Considering that the RTX 4090 and its record-breaking speeds come at a very early stage, we can expect even higher overclocks in the future.
