Artificial intelligence-supported Nothing OS is being developed

Nothing CEO Carl Pei said that they will focus on artificial intelligence for the future of Nothing OS, the company’s operating system. Acknowledging Apple and Google’s dominance in the smartphone market, Pei stated that Nothing aims to create its own space.

At an event he attended, Pei discussed Nothing’s plans to develop the Android-based Nothing OS with artificial intelligence capabilities. Stating that developing a new operating system from scratch will require a lot of resources, the founder stated that Nothing will use “artificial intelligence models of major technology companies.”

According to Pei, the goal will be to integrate artificial intelligence into Nothing OS in a way that will reshape how users interact and experience with their phones. Although he did not share details, he stated that they could provide personalization with artificial intelligence.

Some users think that more data will be needed due to artificial intelligence integration, which means it may create privacy problems. However, the CEO emphasized that Nothing’s focus is, first and foremost, on improving the user experience.

He noted that Nothing could offer a standalone operating system if necessary, despite appealing to a relatively small market compared to Apple and Google.
