WhatsApp, one of the most famous messaging applications in the world, is having more busy days than ever before. Testing many new features with beta updates released one after another, Meta offered some of these features to users in final versions.
Finally, WhatsApp now allows users to listen to recorded audio messages before sending them.
Incorrect or silent recordings become history
Since the beginning of this month, WhatsApp continues to make innovations about voice recordings. Lastly, at the beginning of the month, Meta, which enables the posts to be seen as sound waves and thus to test the sound level of the recordings, came up with a completely different feature. According to the statement made by the official WhatsApp account, you will now be able to listen to your messages without forwarding them to the other party.
Although sound waves allowed you to see the sound level of your recording, they did not give you an idea of the quality of the recording. In this way, if a different noise or something you don’t want to be heard interferes with the sound recording you sent, you can delete the recording immediately after listening and create another sound recording.
WhatsApp announced the new feature as ‘They’re not bugs, just rehearsals!’ and officially stated that the new feature will be available with an update to both Android and iOS platforms. Although there are users who state that they have this feature on their social media accounts for now, WhatsApp has not made a statement about the official release date.
