In this direction, leaks and reports about the smart watch began to appear. Finally, it was shared that the product will come with a new built-in sensor and will measure the temperature of the users.
Apple Watch Series 8 will be able to detect high fever
In recent years, we have come across many news that wearable technologies such as smart watches save people’s lives with the functions they contain. For this reason, we see that especially smart watches are becoming more capable day by day.
According to Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman, Apple will start a new era with the upcoming Watch Series 8. Accordingly, the smartwatch will come with a new built-in temperature sensor. This will warn users if their fever is higher than normal.
However, there is another important detail here. Because the smart watch will not directly read the body temperature as in standard thermometers. Instead, as we mentioned above, it will warn the user when it goes above normal. It will be available in both a standard and an extreme sports version, which is expected to be called the ‘Rugged Edition’ or ‘Extreme Edition’.
Apart from that, Mark Gurman shared a slightly annoying new development about the smartwatch in last week’s Power On newsletter. Accordingly, the Watch Series 8 will come with a chip with the same features as its predecessor. Considering that the Watch Series 7 comes with a processor with similar features to its predecessor, it is highly likely that Apple will pass on two generations with chips with the same features.
