New date for Apple AR/VR
The common point of leaks to date was that Apple’s mixed reality headset, which combines AR and VR technologies, will be showcased at the WWDC22 conference. However, contrary to the claims, we have not heard the slightest statement from the company on the subject. As such, users waiting for the product were greatly disappointed.
Ming-Chi Kuo recently shared new information about the highly anticipated product. According to Kuo, Apple AR/VR will debut in January 2023. It will be sent to developers within 2 to 4 weeks of launch. It will also be available for pre-order in the second quarter of 2023. It will go on sale ahead of WWDC23 in June.
Apart from that, according to the claim made by The New York Times last week, Apple wants to buy movies and series from Hollywood directors for AR/VR headsets. Although it is unclear how the company will use the mixed reality headset, it seems to take important steps in cinema. Finally, the title will run the realityOS operating system.
