A new altcoin whale marked the day with a transaction of $ 33 million. The acquisition comes after a 1,400% increase in token burn rate.
New altcoin whale moves $33M in a single transaction
Etherscan data shows an astonishing amount of Shiba Inu transports in the last 12 hours. However, the transaction that marked the day was SHIB, worth $33 million, which came about two hours ago. A massive altcoin whale has moved 3.3 trillion SHIB tokens in a single transaction.
Whale Alert reported that a total of 3,363,854,488,205 SHIB tokens were transferred roughly two hours ago. Etherscan does not provide details on the amount of SHIB held in the sender’s or recipient’s wallet. But all the funds were transferred to a wallet that has been empty to date. This gives rise to rumors that a new whale has been born.
Coinbase transfer
In another transaction today, an anonymous whale transferred $1.5 million worth of SHIB. This fund was sent to the cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com for sale. Transactions come from Coinbase’s wallets. Now whales are getting active again as SHIB adds another zero to its price after a recent drop. It seems that some whales are turning the fall into an opportunity.
However, the SHIB accumulation did not have an immediate impact on the price. Currently, the Shiba Inu price is trading at $0.000009933 with a 24-hour trading volume of $124.41 million. It was down 0.15% compared to the last 24 hours.
