iOS 15, which was introduced to users in September and includes many new features and improvements, brought some problems for applications. Application developers are trying to find solutions to the problems experienced after the iOS 15 update. According to the latest news, one of these applications is Spotify…
Spotify, one of the most used music streaming services in the world, confirmed the problems experienced by iPhone owners while using the application with a statement. Accordingly, users experience serious problems on iPhones with iOS 15 operating system while using Spotify.
Spotify drastically reduces battery life
According to the complaints from users who have switched to iOS 15 on their iPhone devices, after only one hour of use of the application, approximately 30 percent of the charge is consumed. However, iPhone users report that the device heats up much more than usual when using Spotify.
After the complaints, the Spotify front published an official statement and confirmed the problems. Stating that the issue was transferred to the relevant units and it was started to be investigated, the company made two suggestions that it thought might work for the problem.
The first solution suggestion from the Spotify front is to completely remove the application and reinstall it through the Apple Store. Many users state that this method does not work at all. On the other hand, another method offered by the company is to turn off Background App Refresh. To do this, you can turn off the feature by going to Settings > General > Background App Refresh on your iOS device.
