Xiaomi will soon debut with its newest flagship series, Xiaomi 13. Many claims and leaks have been made about the devices to date. In fact, a short time ago, the Pro model of the series was displayed in blood and its design was largely determined. However, today, there was a game-changing development about the series. Accordingly, the Chinese manufacturer is preparing to surprise the users about the naming.
The claim that Xiaomi will release 14 instead of 13 next month
Considering the names of the previous series, it was predicted that the upcoming flagship models of the Chinese company would come under the umbrella of Xiaomi 13. However, the latest images that have surfaced on Weibo show the opposite. Accordingly, the phones, which are expected to be introduced next month, will debut with the Xiaomi 14 tag.
At this point, the image of a cardboard of retail boxes of Xiaomi 14 is now shared frequently on Weibo. Apart from this, another image reveals both the name and key features of the smartphone.
Xiaomi 14 with model number 221113C will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. The processor, which will be produced with 4 nm technology, will use 1 x 3.19GHz ARM Cortex-X3, 2 x 2.8GHz ARM Cortex-A715, 2 x 2.8GHz ARM Cortex-A710 and 3 x 2.0GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores. Qualcomm will include the Adreno 740 graphics interface that supports Ray Tracing technology in Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
When we look at the leaked image, it is possible to say that the device will come with 12 GB of RAM. Of course, it is highly likely that different options will be offered to users here. It also runs MIUI 14.0.2.0, based on Android 13. At the same time, it should be noted that the October 2022 security patch is available on the model.
Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the name change status claimed by the related images. However, sources close to the company claim that the Chinese manufacturer has bypassed the Xiaomi 13 series due to the number 13, which is considered unlucky in some beliefs.
