As it is known, game-oriented smartphones are increasing their popularity day by day. iQOO also wants to enter this field with the Neo 5S, which it is preparing to offer to users in the coming days. In addition to the launch date of the device, important parts of its technical features have already been announced.
Of course, the main point of attention is the processor details. iQOO announced on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo that the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with a dedicated and standalone display chip.
With this technology called Dual Chip, the Neo 5S model will have MEMC support, which offers more vivid colors and enhanced game performance on the FPS side.
In addition, one of the most common problems when playing games on mobile devices has been addressed. At this point, the device will have an advanced heat dissipation technology to keep temperatures under control. In this way, although the heating will not be completely eliminated in the games, it will be minimized.
iQOO Neo 5S will come with an AMOLED panel with 120 Hz refresh rates. On the other hand, it will include up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage options with UFS 3.1 technology.
While there is a 16 Megapixel selfie camera on the front, there will be a triple camera setup using a 48 Megapixel main camera on the back. The smartphone, which is expected to support 66W fast charging, will run the Android-based OriginOS Ocean UI interface as soon as it comes out of the box. The launch date of the device was determined as 20 December.
