Stokes, who lives in the Adelaide region of the state of South Australia, traveled about 150 kilometers on Friday on his gearless bike to draw the cover of Nevermind, one of the most popular albums of the famous US rock band.

The band’s most well-known songs include ‘Come As You Are’ and ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’; Stating that he prepared such a project in honor of the 30th anniversary of Nevermind, which includes Kurt Cobain on guitar and vocals, Dave Grohl on drums and Krist Novoselic on bass guitar, Stokes stated that it took 8 hours to complete the drawing.

Used GPS-based Strava for drawing

Stokes also talked about his admiration for Nirvana, saying, “I was 14 when this album came out, I was a high school student. Your love for music takes shape at this age,” he said. The 45-year-old cyclist used the GPS-based Strava program, often used by runners and cyclists, to draw the album cover.
