One of the products that Samsung will announce at the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 10 will be its new smart watch. As the event date approaches, many more details are coming to light, in this context, Galaxy Watch 5 will face fast charging.
According to information shared on Twitter by sources close to Samsung, the Galaxy Watch 5 will charge much faster than its predecessor, the previous model. It is stated that the smartwatch will host a 10W magnetic charger.
Galaxy Watch 5 comes with fast charging improvement
That’s twice as fast charging compared to the Watch 4. However, it is not possible to say that the charging time will be shortened by two times. We expect a larger battery to be included in the Watch 5, we can’t be sure of the picture that will emerge as both the battery capacity and charging speed have increased.
In the shared images, we see that the charging cable is USB-C as expected. Although 10W output seems like a lot for a smartwatch, it’s a normal value when we look at the overall picture. For this reason, it will be possible to charge the smartwatch at 10W using almost any charging adapter.
The new watches, which will appear in two different forms, Standard and Pro, will host a larger frame due to the increased battery capacity.
