The handheld console market, which marked a period but fell out of favor with the entry of smartphones into our lives, returned to its old days with the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck, introduced in 2017 and 2021. According to the latest information, Valve will soon showcase a renewed version of the existing Steam Deck.
Revamped Steam Deck appears at FCC
Recently, many leaks regarding Steam Deck 2 have emerged. Making a statement following these rumors, Valve developer Pierre-Loup Griffais stated that they have no such plans for now. In fact, reports on the subject claimed that the launch of the product would be postponed to 2025 and beyond.
Today, there was an important development regarding the issue. It looks like Valve wants to release a revamped version of the current console before Steam Deck 2, and that device recently surfaced at the FCC. Although there are no comprehensive details about the device at the moment, the first details reveal that it will come with Wi-Fi 6E.
