- Simply open an engram with a random item.
- Focus on an engram by obtaining a random item from a specific expansion. This additionally requires Glimmer and 1 Higher Shard.
- Focus already unlocked Exotic equipment, obtaining a copy of it with a random stat. This additionally requires Glimmer, 3 Superior Shards, and 1 Exotic Cipher.
Also in connection with this new feature, some weekly milestones have been updated, replacing the regular legendary equipment with an exotic engram.
Craft
The crafting system has been slightly improved and blueprints for new weapons have been added according to the standard scheme. Developers added a new item called the Deepsight Harmonizer, which allows you to turn normal weapons into weapons with a red border. This only applies to weapons that can be crafted. This cannot be applied to a weapon that already has a red border removed.
The Harmonizer can only be obtained from the Season Pass (3 pieces from the free reward strip and 3 pieces from the paid one).
Weapon blueprints were added from the Last Wish raid. Since this is an old raid, a guaranteed random red-bordered weapon is given as a weekly quest from Hawthorne and a red-bordered weapon can be purchased from her once a week.

Seasonal Artifact

- Protective Breach – while using a void gap, you surround yourself with a shield or refresh an existing shield.
- Amped Up – under the influence of the “Amplification” effect, damage resistance increases.
- Shock and Awe – after finishing hits with Lightning energy made under the influence of the “Enhancement” effect, you create lightning that deals damage to targets and hits them with an electric shock.
- Supernova – when you use a Void Rupture, your next Void Damage attack inflicts a powerful debilitating impulse.
- Lightning Strikes Twice – after launching an electric grenade, grenade retrieval speed is accelerated for a brief period of time. Lightning energy finishing hits to extend the duration of this effect.
Changes
So here is a list of the most interesting changes from patch 7.1.0. Developers:
- added the ability to rotate the weapon model in the extended information window;
- updated the animation of enemy elemental shields (now instead of a cylinder, shields look like an oval aura around the enemy);
- balanced the archetypes of weapons and exotic armor;
- balanced various perks and armor mods;
- balanced the main subclasses, thread, and stasis;
- added 3 new tutorial quests to Ikora (they are associated with the main subclasses and allow you to get exotic equipment).
