We can easily say that many people will answer PUBG as the most popular game of the last 10 years. The long-awaited good news for the game, which has become extremely popular especially during the pandemic period, has finally arrived and the PUBG Mobile 2.0 update has been presented to the players.
The Livik map opened its doors to players starting May 11 with an improved layout of its urban areas for innovative new combat strategies. Also, with this update, the four-person UTV Utility Vehicle, Livik and Aftermath have been added to the maps, allowing players to quickly move back and forth across the map.
What does the PUBG Mobile 2.0 update offer?
With the new update, an advanced material area randomly displayed in gold color appears in the urban area at the start of the match, allowing players to buy as many items as they can. Treasure Maps are also available in minigames and items such as Blomster’s in-game Football Challenge and Random Chests that can be tracked with a quick escape route thanks to the map’s new Air Line.
Airdrop chests are available in a specific area per match, while Summoning Towers have been placed all over Livik for players to revive lost teammates. Underneath everything is Livik’s volcano, which can erupt at any moment.
Players can hide from the volcano’s wrath by avoiding explosions and taking shelter in buildings.
Additionally, a new season is coming to the game on May 19th! Adding a new set of Legendary rewards for Cycle 2 Season 6, including themed Goggles, Parachute, Mask and much more.
The tier system has also been recalibrated as more sublayers have been added to the Gold, Bronze and Silver tiers. PUBG Mobile has also announced a partnership that will bring the scary angels of the series to the iconic maps of the game with a special event for Evangelion, one of the popular anime series, very soon.
