Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has disabled its derivatives services in Spain.

Binance has stopped offering crypto derivatives services as it awaits approval from Spain’s regulator, the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV).

Binance Discontinues Derivatives Services in Spain

Binance’s website in Spain has removed its crypto derivatives listing and complies with regulations set by the company’s government agency and reported that it has temporarily suspended its derivatives offerings to comply with its eligibility criteria.

Other crypto exchanges are currently on CNMV’s gray list, including Binance, Coinbase, and Bit2Me. The greylist is defined as entities that are not allowed to operate as fully licensed entities.

Last week, Binance reported that it has obtained a digital asset service provider license from the financial markets regulator in France.
