Radeon RX 6×50 XT graphics cards, which AMD will re-release by overhauling the RDNA 2 architecture, have already started pre-orders at ridiculous prices. In benchmark tests, it seems to be ahead of its competitors.
How is Radeon RX 6950 XT performance?
Overhauling Navi 2x units in the 7nm process, AMD raises the performance bar with new driver updates and increased memory speeds. The 10% increase in energy consumption is the biggest indicator of this.
Radeon RX 6×50 XT graphics cards possible specifications are as follows:
- Radeon RX 6950 XT: 5120 stream processor, 2100MHz gaming frequency, 128MB Infinity Cache, 16GB GDDR6 memory, 256-bit bus, 18Gbps speed, 576GB/s bandwidth, 335W, $1099.
- Radeon RX 6750 XT: 2560 stream processor, 2495.MHz gaming frequency, 96MB Infinity Cache, 12GB GDDR6 memory, 192-bit bus, 18Gbps speed, 432GB/s bandwidth, 250W, $549.
- Radeon RX 6650 XT: 2048 stream processor, 2410MHz gaming frequency, 32MB Infinity Cache, 8GB GDDR6 memory, 128-bit bus, 17.5Gbps speed, 280GB/s bandwidth, 160W, $399.
AMD can’t get enough of records
The graphics cards put in the 3D Mark TimeSpy and 3D Mark Fire Strike tests do not go unnoticed. However, in the tests where RT cores stand out, it falls back quite a bit. Again, it is stated that there are 15-20 percent improvements compared to the previous generation Radeon cards. The tests were conducted with the Ryzen 7 5800X3D processor and DDR4-3600 memory, using 22.10-220411n drivers that are not yet available.
