Audio equipment manufacturer Bose, according to the emerging information, has made significant reductions in the number of employees in recent years. The company is reportedly laying off employees regularly as it falls short of its targeted revenues.
Layoffs continue at Bose
According to the information obtained by the Boston Globe, Bose, which reduced its number of employees from 9 thousand in 2019 to 7 thousand in 2021, is constantly laying off its personnel. Speaking after the company last cut 245 jobs in March, some former employees said Bose has been below sales targets for a while.
Company spokesperson Joanne Berthiaume, confirming the layoffs, stated that Bose has always focused on the products deemed most important to customers, and in this context, it is actively recruiting for more than 200 open positions.
