General Motors(GM) will collaborate with INRIX to help transportation and planning agencies achieve their road safety goals. The two companies will work together on Safety View, a cloud-based application that provides authorities with critical information using collision, vehicle and ‘vulnerable road users’ (such as pedestrians and road workers) information.

Safety View will provide visual analysis tools for the Vision Zero action plan, which many organizations aim for zero road deaths or serious injuries. In addition, the application will provide the elements that increase the risk for the authorities.
