Google Pixel 3a series will get its final update soon

Google introduced Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL in May 2019. Pixel 3a series, which changed Android’s budget-friendly phones forever by bringing the Pixel experience to people cheaply, will receive its last update in July.

Update support lasted only 3 years

Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, introduced in May 2019, would receive their final update in May 2022, but Google announced that it would give these devices a final update in July. Google, like other companies, does not keep Android version updates and security updates separately, so these devices will not be able to receive security updates as of July.

Google’ The Pixel Feature update, which is released in June of each year, will most likely not be included in this latest update. Unfortunately, with this news, the Pixel 3a series has come to the end of the road. Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL debuted with Android 9. The last version update of the device is Android 12.
