Sleep timer coming to Android version of Apple Music

Android version of Apple Music will soon have a sleep timer feature. Lines of code containing the sleeptimer_end_of_show and sleeptimer_end_of_episode parameters were discovered in the APK file of the app’s latest beta version 3.10.

The sleep timer hidden in beta version is not active yet. The feature will allow you to choose a time interval between 15 minutes and 1 hour, as well as automatically interrupting the music when the current song ends or the current playlist ends.

More practical and comprehensive than the iOS version

, the sleep timer is set via the Clock app built into iPhone and iPad. In the Android version, however, you will be able to access this feature directly from within the app. However, it should be noted that the customization options are more extensive.

The new feature will undoubtedly be extremely useful for those who fall asleep while listening to music. The update, which includes the sleep timer functionality, is expected to be generally available via the stable channel in the next few weeks.
