Whales increase SHIB holdings
Whale watching website shows that average Shiba Inu holdings of top investors are 469.2 billion SHIB tokens worth $9,818,431 and SHIB is ETH Apart from itself, it is the largest altcoin holding among Ethereum whales. Shiba Inu is known as the “Dogecoin killer” and was created anonymously in August 2020 under the pseudonym “Ryoshi”. Ryoshi says he’s nothing about himself and that he doesn’t matter, and even if he succeeds, his efforts to reveal his identity will be overwhelming.
WhaleStats also reported that over the past 24 hours, the largest cryptocurrency investors favored the metaverse The Sandbox, with an average of 30,000 SAND tokens purchased for $63,000. Whale wallets are also keen on the 3D virtual reality world of Decentraland (MANA), as WhaleStats reveals that it is currently the most widely held cryptocurrency among whales. Overall, MANA accounts for 2.29 percent of total whale assets and is valued at $149,809,490.
Whales have other altcoins in their wallet
In addition to Ethereum itself and a few dollar-pegged stablecoin, mega whales top 10 holdings are the natural asset of the popular FTX cryptocurrency exchange, the FTX Token (FTT) is also available. Deep-pocketed Ethereum wallets hold an average of 226,394 FTT tokens worth $8,898,439. Wealthy investors are also fond of Polygon (MATIC), a tier 2 scaling solution, with the average bag containing $1,816,554 MATIC worth $1,987,571.
Recently, crypto analytics firm Santiment reported that the wealthiest Ethereum investors started accumulating ETH aggressively after four months of inactivity. The whales holding 1,000 to 10,000 Ethereums suddenly added a total of 142,000 ETH to their wallets. This amount is worth approximately $400,014,000 at the time of writing.
