Google continues to meet users with innovative approaches to both Android and Chrome design. The company has released an update that includes a design change for the Chrome app to Android users.

With Android 13, users will get a new interface design. The new design language called Metarial UI draws attention with its simplicity and usefulness.

Updating Google Chrome design for Android users

Wanting to offer users more customization possibilities, Google has released a new update. Android users will be able to change the tab button in the Google Chrome application.

The button called toolbar shortcut only had a new tab icon. Users will now be able to choose share or voice search icons instead of this icon.

People who want to use this feature will be able to copy the chrome://flags/#adaptive-button-in-top-toolbar-customization link to the Google Chrome address bar. Google allows users to choose the shortcut they want. Users will also be able to completely close the toolbar tab at any time.

The toolbar shortcut was available to a limited number of people with the Chrome 92 update released in July 2021. With the Chrome 101 update released on Tuesday, the feature, which can be used by more people, is not yet active for all users.
