Experts forecast metaverse coin price year-end levels
This week, Finder.com reported that 36 fintechs’ Apecoin (APE) has published a new analysis in which it surveys its future price. The Metaverse coin made the headlines recently and climbed to #25 in market cap on April 28. It hit a new high of $26.70 on Thursday. However, APE has lost about 15% since the peak.
Finder panelists expect the APE price to reach $27.70 by 2022 and $25 by 2025. On selling APE, 50% of analysts say it’s time to sell, 33% insist investors should hold Apecoin, and 17% say it should be bought. Three-quarters of all panelists believe that Apecoin (APE) is just another “meme” like DOGE or SHIB.
Dimitrios Salampacis, professor of fintech at Swinburne University of Technology, believes APE could reach $45 by the end of the year. According to Salampasis:
The current NFT craze is affecting Apecoin. I believe that all these over-hyped cryptocurrencies will be lost and devalued because their use potential is negligible.
“Apecoin will disappear by 2030”
Along with the above positive forecasts, a bearish outlook came from Matthew Harry, head of fund at Digitalx Asset Management.
Digitalx executive thinks APE’s current value is based on hype and thinks Apecoin will disappear by 2030:

In the survey we quoted as Kriptokoin.com, 75% of the panelists believe that APE is just “another meme coin”, 20% think that APE has a future and only 5% are about Apecoin. He says they are “not sure”.
