Redmi president Lu Weibing has posted a teaser on his official page on Chinese social network Weibo today, showing the upcoming launch of the new Redmi Note model. Judging by the image, it is not yet known whether the new smartphone will be called Redmi Note 12.

When will Redmi Note 12 be released?
In the text accompanying this image, the head of Redmi says that the company’s move to two-generation Notes a year has put some users in a difficult position – they do not know which of the current year’s devices to choose -. In this context, Redmi may give different names to new smartphones in order not to confuse users. However, this device is currently expected to be released as the Redmi Note 12.
Redmi Note 12 series has a 6.6 inch display, 4300mAh and 4980mAh batteries (depending on version) and most likely the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor expected to be. It is highly likely that the launch of new smartphones will take place in May this year.
