Rumors that Google is planning to launch a first-party Wear OS supported smartwatch have been circulating for several years, and according to the latest rumors that have taken the pulse of the technology world, Google is preparing to present its smartwatch to technology lovers in a very short time.
According to the latest information, Google has also made a trademark application for the ‘Pixel Watch’ name for its smart watch. The device, which will be named Pixel Watch, also draws attention in terms of being Google’s first smart watch. The smart watch, whose renders appeared last week, now has ‘real images’. Let’s examine the images allegedly belonging to Google’s first smart watch, Pixel Watch.
Photos allegedly belonging to Pixel Watch were shared
The person who sent the photos to Android Central, claimed the device as a Pixel Watch prototype at a restaurant in the USA. He says he found it by chance. Considering that an iPhone 4 prototype appeared in a similar way 12 years ago, this possibility does not sound far away.
When viewed from the front, the Pixel Watch prototype, whose image overlaps with previous leaks, appears to have a pill-shaped button on the top of the device. This configuration, which coincides with the UI mockups of Google’s Wear OS 3, shows that you only need to double-press this top button to quickly switch to your last used app.
Under the silver top in the form of the bottom cover, there is a hole for a microphone or altimeter (altimeter). On the bulging back of the device, there are probably sections related to the heart rate sensor and other health functions. At the top, it appears to have an identification port similar to the Apple Watch.
Of course, considering that these images were revealed as a result of a leak, this means that all these details may be specific to the prototype hardware only. In order to see for sure what the Pixel Watch looks like, we have no choice but to wait for Google to officially introduce the device.
