Popular browser Opera (NASDAQ: OPRA) announced the start of iOS support for its “Crypto Browser” project.
In a press release by Opera, “Web 3 is gaining record momentum with 34,000 developers joining the space in 2021 to work on a growing number of dApps. However, the Web3 experience for users is often far from intuitive and traditionally not optimized for iOS users.
With support for iOS recently introduced, Opera’s Crypto Browser looks “ready to take ease of use a step further with the feature of a dedicated web3 browser with built-in custody-free crypto wallet.”
Press release states that the iOS version of Opera Crypto Browser “follows beta release for Mac, Windows and Android at the beginning of January” and that the goal of the Crypto Browser project is “a simplified user experience in decentralized apps (dapps), games” He goes on to say that he is. The browser also has a news and data aggregator called Crypto Corner, which is “a start page focused on live crypto information and updates, crypto asset prices and gas fees, as well as crypto events, airdrops, and even podcasts.”
