The SEC is trying to delay the deadline for the case.

Alderoty said that the SEC’s lawsuit against Ripple has damaged the value of XRP and harmed investors.

Ripple official also reminded that the SEC has not made any moves to stop XRP trading. Despite this, several cryptocurrency exchanges in the country such as Coinbase and Bittrex suspended XRP transactions and helped the SEC achieve its goal.

Along with its fight against Ripple, the SEC is keeping the crypto market in limbo, preventing it from expanding in the US. According to research by Biden’s team, 40 million US citizens own cryptocurrency.
