MagSafe wireless powerbanks were able to supply up to 5 W until now. However, this situation changes with the coming update. For your wireless charger to reach 7.5 W charging power You need to update the firmware version of your MagSafe batteries to 2.7. In the guidelines on its website, Apple stated that the fastest way to update the software is to use a Mac or iPad.

To do this, you need to plug one end of the Lightning-to-USB cable into the Lightning connector on your battery pack and the other end into your Mac or iPad. It has been announced that this process will be completed in about five minutes.

After performing the process, you can check that the update is complete on your iPhone by going to Settings, then General > About > MagSafe Battery Pack. At this stage, the software version should appear as 2.7.
