FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried wants to talk to Elon Musk about Twitter.
FTX CEO Bankman-Fried, a prominent figure in the crypto community, said he would be excited to talk to Musk about Twitter. Bankman-Fried and Musk are two names who have similar thoughts about the problems of social media.
As it is known, Musk wanted to buy Twitter due to problems such as freedom of expression, open source and fraud bots. Similarly, Bankman-Fried thinks that censorship is an important problem and that many problems that bother users on social media can be solved by creating a system where platforms can benefit from the same source. SBF used the following statements on the subject:
“A really messy system with no interoperability between different platforms (…) No ability to see tweets on Facebook. If you message someone on Facebook, you won’t be able to read them on WhatsApp, and it’s the same company.” When asked if
SBF had spoken to Elon Musk about this, he said:
“I haven’t spoken directly to Elon about this, but I’d be excited.”
