Hyundai, which marked 2021 with its electric car Ioniq 5, continues to introduce its concepts for the future day by day. The company, which showed the concept of the ‘new world’ where all the work is done by robots in the past weeks, introduced the concept cockpit, which it aims to take place in the vehicles in the future, today.
Developed by Hyundai Mobis, the parts and service arm of Hyundai, Genesi and Kia, the new cockpit is ‘COMFI (Convenient & Comfortable, Optimized, Movable, Functional and Illuminated – Convenient and Comfortable, Optimized, Mobile, Functional and It was called ‘Illuminated’. So what does this futuristic, spacecraft-like cockpit offer?
Innovative cockpit bursting with something:
Hyundai Mobis features a center console with a touch controller where electronic controls can be provided and an electronically opening and closing table on the passenger side.
Other highlights of the cockpit include the steering wheel that is hidden when the vehicle is closed (no longer a wheel, but a rectangle), a movable steering wheel. camera screens, beautifully designed lights that make the entire cockpit bright, and a sound system consisting of three rotatable speakers. Although the cockpit is still only a concept, many of the technologies we see here actually exist today. Therefore, we can expect similar cockpits from Hyundai and Kia in the coming years.
