MetaMask warned that Apple users should design strong passwords or they could lose their funds.
Ethereum wallet MetaMask has warned Apple users to be wary of iCloud phishing attacks. Some consumers risked losing their funds due to easily guessable passwords.
MetaMask expanded into the Apple ecosystem a few weeks ago, allowing users to purchase digital assets via Apple Pay. MetaMask eliminated the need for customers to use Eth, allowing them to buy cryptocurrencies directly with debit and credit cards.
Crypto wallet Apple has also warned users against phishing attacks after integration. MetaMask stressed that they must create a strong password or their funds could be stolen.
MetaMask also stated that customers can also disable iCloud backups by turning off certain features on the platform.
MetaMask’s warning came after a Twitter user named “revive_dom” lost his MetaMask wallet (which includes $650,000 worth of cryptocurrency and NFT) to hackers.
