Sharing the MIUI 13.5 logo, which is expected to be introduced soon, Xiaomi, on the other hand, continues its efforts to expand its middle segment product range. Finally, the company announced the introduction date of the Civi 1S model, the new member of the Xiaomi Civi series introduced last year.

Claims made by sources such as Digital Chat Station were that the device would be called Civi S or Civi 2. However, according to the promotional poster shared by Xiaomi, the name of the smartphone will be Civi 1S. Allegedly, the model will be an updated version of the Xiaomi Civi unlike its successor.

Xiaomi Civi 1S’s launch date has been set as April 21. The smartphone will be presented to users at an event to be held in China on this date.

Xiaomi Civi 1S will come with a 6.55-inch Full HD+ resolution LTPO AMOLED panel offering 120 Hz refresh rate. On the device, which is expected to have a curved design, the selfie camera will also be positioned in the middle upper part.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus will be used on the processor side. Chipset produced with 6 nm architecture; In addition to the Kryo 670 CPU cores that can go up to 2.5 GHz, it hosts the Adreno 642L graphics unit.

32 Megapixel Sony IMX616 selfie camera is on the front, 64 Megapixel OIS supported Samsung GW3 main camera, 8 Megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra wide angle and 2 Megapixel B&W (black and white) triple camera setup will be seen.

The smartphone will go on sale with 8 GB / 12 GB RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB storage options. Powered by a 4,500 mAh battery with 55W or 67W fast charging support, the device will run Android 12-based MIUI 13 interface as soon as it comes out of the box.
