YouTube Shorts on tablets
YouTube Shorts feature, where YouTube users can create short video clips, had reached 5 trillion total views as of January. Shorts, which is predominantly accessed from smartphones, will soon be launched on tablets and the web.
YouTube Shorts will allow clipping of videos
Currently available The Shorts tab will be added to the YouTube tablet and web application with the update, which continues to be tested with a certain user group. Shorts selections will also be displayed in the home page suggestions. Especially on foldable phones like the Galaxy Z Fold, there was no Shorts tab.
Shorts update will begin rolling out for iPadOS and Android tablets in the coming weeks. On the web side, distribution started slowly. The ability to add clips from other videos will also be available on iPad models in the coming weeks. It will come to Android tablets in the next period.
