Apple, one of the first companies that comes to mind when the technology ecosystem is mentioned, continues to develop the Apple Watch, one of the most popular products in the smart watch world. According to key leak sources, the company stepped up its efforts to bring some updates.
Innovations such as a new low power mode and satellite connection are coming
Apple Watch aims to increase the user experience by offering new updates. According to the information obtained by Mark Gurman, the company will bring some distinctive software features to the Apple Watch series. So much so that these features that are being worked on will also be offered to the Watch Series 8, which is expected to be introduced this year.
Two innovations stand out among the features desired to be brought to Apple Watch. A new low-power mode that stands out first will work with apps and other features, unlike the previous low-power mode, to consume less power.
Secondly, satellite connection appears. The feature, which will be active in regions where cellular data does not work, is designed to communicate by establishing a satellite connection in messages and emergency calls. Another feature to come will be afib load detection. Afib burden detection tracks atrial fibrillation status.
In addition to all of these, the leaker also states that new workouts and new watch faces are coming. The new update will also bring some features to iPhone Health. A number of features are also expected to be added, such as new monitoring for sleep, women’s health, and medications.
