Elon Musk also replied to Anderson’s comment that many people complain about billionaires due to income inequality:
“Sure which would be very problematic if I was spending billions of dollars a year on personal consumption, but that’s not the case. My personal consumption is not high. So, the only exception is the plane, but if I don’t use the plane, I have fewer hours to work.”
Elon Musk announced in May 2020 that he decided to sell all the houses he owned and not own any. Information shared by Insider in August 2021 revealed that Elon Musk lived in a small prefab house worth $50,000.
