It’s clear how the “edit” feature on Twitter will work

Developer Nima Ouji showed how the tweet editing feature Twitter plans to launch soon works.

After a tweet has been published, web users will be able to edit the tweet by clicking the ellipsis icon and going to the corresponding option.

Ouji noted that users cannot change their audience after a tweet has been edited. In addition, the feature will be exclusive to Twitter Blue subscribers. It remains unclear how long users can edit a tweet, or whether Twitter will offer quoting or retweeting options for edited tweets.

The company has so far only tested the tweet edit button on the web version of the platform, and no information about the application version has been given yet. Twitter is likely to roll out this innovation in the next few weeks.
