SketchUp is one of Trimble’s most popular software that develops industrial solutions in construction, agriculture, geospatial, natural resources and utilities, governments, transportation and other fields. After waiting, it finally met with iPad users. However, there is one detail we should mention.

The application was opened to users as a Beta a few years ago and today we see this application in the videos of many people who are interested in 3D printers and actively produce content in this field. The SketchUp for iPad application, whose beta process has ended as of today, has taken its place in a way that can be used by everyone.

Thanks to the combination of iPad, which is a very good device for drawing thanks to Apple Pencil, and the smart drawing tools in this application, architects and designers spend much less time. it becomes possible to create innovative works.

Autoshape, a machine learning feature, turns doodles into 3D shapes and configurable components. With Markup mode, users can digitally place annotations and illustrations on 3D models using the Pencil and receive customer feedback in real time.

The app allows users to import satellite imagery and terrain data of their current location, apply photo textures using an iPad camera, and visualize real-world 3D creations using augmented reality.

Today, integration has become indispensable for applications and hardware. SketchUp models stored in Trimble Connect are automatically synced across devices.

This allows collaborators to move seamlessly between SketchUp for iPad, SketchUp for the web, and SketchUp desktop apps.
