The Stratosphere dining experience
will take its passengers 30 miles above the ground, Space Perspective says the Space Lounge can be customized for different occasions, such as group events or couples’ dinners. The company states that the capsule will be created entirely from sustainable materials.
The whole experience will be recorded with indoor and outdoor cameras. With the telescope that will be in the capsule, passengers will be able to observe the world and space from afar. Food and beverage services will be provided to passengers and information will be provided with interactive screens, while lighting can also be customized.
Space Perspectives mission will begin at daylight and will reach its maximum altitude of 30 kilometers in about two hours. It will again offer experience at similar altitudes for two hours, and then the mission will end with a descent time of two hours.
The company is asking $125,000 per ticket with a $1,000 refundable deposit for this experience. Space Perspectives says 600 people have been on the waiting list so far. The first piloted tests are scheduled for 2023 and the first commercial flights in 2024.
