The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remastered version has been delayed!
It has been quite some time since 2015. The company rolled up its sleeves to improve the game, adapt it to today’s graphics conditions, and port it to the next generation consoles. With the remastered version first announced in September 2020, Ray-Tracing and faster load times were promised.
In the statement, it was stated that players with one of the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game will receive the remastered version with a free upgrade at no additional cost. According to the plans, the release date would be the second quarter of 2022.
However, CD Projekt Red doesn’t seem to be able to spare time for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt project while dealing with the update work with the delay problems and post-release frustration with Cyberpunk 2077. Because not much information was shared about the project. In addition, the remastered version of the game was being developed by Saber Interactive. Along with all this, the news of the postponement was announced on the official account of the game.
