Toncoin has launched a $250 million ecosystem fund with the support of names like Huobi and Kucoin.
A $250 million ecosystem fund has been launched with the support of investors like Huobi and Kucoin to support projects built on the new version of Telegram, the failed project TON, which is independent but has its approval. Other contributors to the fund included names such as EXC Pioneer Fund, 3Commas Capital, Orbs, TON Miners, and Kilo Fund. The fund will be used to support developers building on the TON blockchain.
Telegram closed Ton in 2020 after the SEC accused it of selling unregistered securities. However, community members rebranded the project and continued to develop it. The said fund represents the last step taken in this regard.
